Welcome to my new site!
Aloha and welcome! I am totally stoked to see you here. For my first written post on my new blog I am going to start with a picture of my framed personal mission statement that I had created during my recent participation in Katie Frieling’s “CASH IN ON YOU” personal branding coaching program. Also I feel it would be a good to give you a little more info regarding my intentions and the purpose of this site as well as how it came to be. As I mentioned, I had recently finished Katie’s Frieling’s online branding course. Her course was incredibly valuable and came to me at a time when I could really use it (and was unconsciously asking for it.) I completely recommend this program to anybody who is interested in getting past there own self doubts and fears to actually look inside themselves to become a focused, conscious, successful online presence with a mission.
I had come across one of Katie’s Youtube videos online, I followed a link to her site then joined her email list. As serendipity would have it, a few weeks later Katie announced the opening of the first C.I.O.Y course. Now to be honest, I wasn’t quite sure if the self growth and personal introspection approach to teaching people how market themselves online was really going to be my bag. But as I have mentioned in my about me page, I had been feeling a bit wayward in my direction and thought some good old fashioned soul searching could probably do me some good. So I took a leap of faith, went forward and enrolled, promising myself to go into it with an open mind and a solid comittment to giving it 100%. I am now ever so grateful that I found that courage to move past my skepticism. Through Katie’s and Renee’s techniques and exercises in the C.I.O.Y program, I uncovered a deeper, more meaningful purpose behind my life, art and creativity. This new site and the exciting direction that I am now taking it in can all be directly attributed to the priceless knowledge that I learned over the past 8 weeks of participating in the C.I.O.Y course
This course is an obvious labor of love for Katie and with the help of Renee Airya they have put together a course with so much valuable and transformational info that at times I felt as if ideas were shooting out of my body with sparks and pops! The C.I.O.Y program went so far above and beyond anything that I expected and way deeper into my unconscious mind that I wouldn’t have thought possible without many sessions of one on one coaching. Right off the bat I was introduced to quantum psychics, meditation and asking myself some pretty deep questions about my being, core values and life’s purpose. I went into this course wanting to gain better clarity on how to use the internet and social media to market my art and came out wanting to not only sell my own creations but to also help you tap into your creative potential and release the inner artist within yourself. I intend to do this by making video tutorials and blog posts that show techniques and tips I have learned in addition to cool Do It Yourself projects and other fun, interesting stuff related to creativity, imagination and fun. ART IS FOR EVERYBODY and an awesome way to relax and ease the mind out of the frenzy of everyday living
I would be really stoked to read your comments, thoughts, suggestions or creative ideas that you would like to see here on my site. Or if you like tell me how your own creativity has helped you to grow and find your happy place. Also, I sure would apprieciate it if you shared my posts with anybody that you think might enjoy the read or be interested in the Cash In On You Program. (I am in no way affiliated with Katie or C.I O.Y. program other than being a grateful graduate.)

I wanted to officially come by and say congratulations on your new site. This site is truly an accomplishment. I love the neat and organized feel of it. Fabulous post Chongolio!! Congratulations on the site- it looks wonderful, love the color and vlog!! It’s great to see you on video and the island. I look forward to reading your posts and creating some art work with you! Great job
I’m clapping wildly for your HUGE accomplishment and your new adventure!!!!
FANTASTIC! As a fellow creative, I’ve encountered some of the same issues. I’ve had to stop the creating for a moment (which is a constant flow) and sit down and plan for more effectiveness. I had to redo everything so I am in more alignment with the social media and what they are seeking (despite the fact that I’m everywhere). This included a new business card and a redo of the resume so that people understand me more accurately. Most creatives like to keep on outputting and don’t worry so much about the overall plan as they instinctively know what they’re doing. That doesn’t mean that others see it or understand their vision. This course sounds great–love what you’re doing here and so happy you found the right inspiration. We are very much on the same path right now. Keep on creating!! ~ Gio

Aloha Gio, Dude thanks so much for taking the time to comment. I checked out your photos and thought they were very cool! I am sure we can help to inspire one another and others. I know what you are saying about being all over the place. It can be overwhelming trying to stay on top of all the ways to get exposure and showcase your creative babies, keep up with comments, tweets, email and on and on. Then you still have to deal with the paperwork, phone calls, meetings etc, after that your lucky if you can find time to actually get started on the creative work. I was on the same path for years, just putting work out everywhere and seeing what bites. I sort of burned out on it and to a certain degree dropped out of all my creative circles. After taking Katie’s course, I understand much better the way social media works and how to use it more to my advantage in attracting people, like yourself, that share the same interest in releasing their creative passion. I am again super stoked to get back into my creative groove and my happy place. Stay true to your self and confident in your creative gift and the path will light up for you like a dang ol runway cleared for take off!
