Everyday Items to Add to Your Art Supply Boxes
It is in my humble opinion that making art and being creative does not have to be an expensive endeavor. If you use your imagination and look around at everyday items through the eyes of an artist, which you just so happen to be, you can find that some common everyday items can become useful tools that can help you unlock the doors to artistic adventures.
Here is a list of easily found household items to stash in your art supply boxes and bins. Some of these things are pretty self explanatory others I will discuss more in future posts. This is not by no means a complete list and I will continue to update it as other items come to mind. Do you have something to add to this list? Give me a holler over on Facebook or Twitter. Have fun on your hunt and keep them peepers peeled you never know where you may find some inspiration!
Here is the list as a PDF.

what in the world do you use corks for? lol that is one thing i do not have in my art box.
Hey Roni, I use corks to make quick circular stamps and they are awesome for sticking your exacto knife blade into to keep it safe when not in use.
