Here is a quick top 10 list of of my favorite things that I like to use as scrap papers in my art books and pages:

1.) Candy Wrappers (especially weird or exotic ones)
2.) Wrapping or handmade paper
3.) Painted background papers that I have made.
4.) Decals and stickers. (You can find stickers everywhere if you look.)
5.) Labels and packaging from boxes and cans of my favorite foods (I really like the asian noodle packages)
6.) Magazines, newspapers and catalogs clippings. (Great source for images of stuff that interests you.)
7.) The insides of banking and credit card envelopes that have cool patterns.
8.) Ticket stubs from concerts, movies and shows.
9.) Print outs from laser sand some inkjet printers (make sure the ink is waterproof)
10.) Doodles that I have done or found on random pieces of papers.

The fun is in the hunt and finding new thing to use that are visually appealing and that have meaning or are symbolic and that represent you and your interests and life! You can keep your collection in manilla folders or large recycled postal envelopes. If you are interested in trading and sharing some of your collection let me know I loves me a good swap and I am always up for trades and shares.

If you have a moment, please leave me a comment below and let me know what are some of your favorite scraps to use and where you find them? Stay tuned for VLOG #8 where I will be touching on the subject of stencils which I should have posted hopefully no later than next Monday if not sooner.
